Organothon

ORGANOTHON is a charity run aspiring to make a difference in people’s lives. It is aimed at generating mass awareness on deceased organ donation among people, the first of its kind in the entire North East India. ORGANOTHON is an initiative by Zublee Foundation which originated in the year 2017. Deceased Organ Donation has always been neglected in the entire North- East region which is why we see no substantial activities going on. Rather, we are only able to know the atrocities people go through if someone in their family/ relatives/ friends confronts a situation where organ transplant needs to be done. Lack of awareness among people over the matter is the very reason for this unacceptable negligence which is costing lives of people who can’t afford or manage to take the victim to other parts of the Country or even outside. It’s high time for us to understand the magnitude of the problem and also the benefits of deceased organ donation.Won’t you feel great when you can do something great for yourself while doing something good for others? Make your run more meaningful to support a worthwhile cause like organ donation. Run for this noble cause.
